Easy to access and perfect for families
Located in the town of Le Pradet, Garonne Beach is one of the most easily accessible beaches in the seaside resort. It stretches about 150 meters and holds the Blue Flag label, a guarantee of environmental quality. Very popular with families in summer, it features a mix of sand at the ends and pebbles in the central area, making it pleasant for all kinds of swimming.
A large free parking lot is situated just above the beach on Boulevard du Commandant l’Herminier, making access easy for visitors arriving on foot or by car. From the town center of Le Pradet, simply follow the signs for La Garonne to reach the beach without difficulty.
On the left side of the beach, a bar-restaurant offers the chance to dine with your feet in the sand. Nearby, the kayak club provides introductions and sea excursions. Further along toward the Oursinières, the sailing club welcomes both children and adults to discover the joys of windsurfing, sport catamaran, and snorkeling adventures with mask and snorkel.
The beach is supervised during the high season from June 1 to August 31, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and then from September 1 to 12 on Wednesdays and weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Restrooms are available on site. Access for animals, even on a leash, is prohibited in accordance with the municipal decree dated January 22, 2014.
