Same principle for the Bonnettes beach located 400 meters from the campsite. The location of the campsite is a real asset. It is a beach suitable for families with its gradual bottom and turquoise waters.
For a memorable experience, the Hermitage campsite offers stand-up paddle rental. These are XL models allowing you to go on family outings. In the town of Pradet alone, you can discover 5 exceptional beaches.
The town of Pradet
Le Pradet is a popular tourist resort located between Toulon and the city of Hyères. You can discover its typical Provençal square with its fountain and church, a real meeting place, of discovery and exchanges with its market that smells good Provence.
Camping l’Hermitage offers you the rental of electric bikes to allow you to explore the town of Pradet, its shops, its market as well as the many restaurants with local specialties. With this close 5 minute walk you will not have to worry about the car and find a place.
Discover the must-see tourist sites of the var during your stay at the campsite l’Hermitage. You can hike under the pines. Play tennis. Go fishing.
Or join the nautical base to paddle, dive or sail. You will be just a stone’s throw away from Toulon (9 km) and Hyères (11 km), the peninsula of Giens, the island of Porquerolles, Port Cros, the islands of Levant and Embiez.

For the record, the Hermitage campsite is located in the former residence of actor Raimu, Marcel Pagnol’s favorite actor. The campsite is now managed by Amélie and Cédric, whose history is also linked to this place. This establishment is labeled« Welcome camping » and is thus one of the establishments recognized as being small family campsites.
With its forty pitches, the Hermitage offers you the rental of camping pitches for tents, caravans or even campervans, as well as the rental of chalets and mobile homes. Rentals ranging from one to 10 people with the Mobile home Duo and the Cabanon Tribu. Different equipment options available in the chalets, from standard to VIP with air conditioning television and private jacuzzi on its terrace.
Services & facilities
On the campsite you can meet up with friends or family around the pétanque court located next to the children’s playground that will spend hours in the bouncy castle of the campsite.
You can also enjoy the swimming pool with terrace accessible from June to September under condition of course to wear a boxer-type swimsuit or swimming trunks for men. On the terrace we offer fast food with refreshment bar, sale of ice cream, pizza corner and rotisserie in July-August
On the campsite, you will have the opportunity to play table football but also to attend the muscular awakening and several other activities offered by the campsite such as the morning meeting for children or the various themed evenings with meals that we offer.
